Who we are
Midhurst MEDS (Medical Emergency District Support) Respond to 999 medical emergencies as Community First responders on behalf of the NHS & South East Coast Ambulance Service in the Midhurst area .
We will also provide CPR and BLS training , maintain PAD sites and serve the local community by providing faster response times and better patient outcomes for those in need
What we do

- Respiratory Arrest
- Chest Pains & Heart Attacks
- Loss of consciousness
- Breathing Difficulties
- Collapse
- Seizures
- Shock
- Allergic Reaction
- Diabetic emergencies
- Strokes & TIA
- Trauma & Bleeding
- Falls
- Emergency First Aid
Where & When we do it
From Midhurst we cover an approximate radius of 5 miles. We currently provide around 250 hours of cover per month at the times that SECAmb is at its busiest and most needs our support. We aim to increase this to 500 hours per month by mid 2022 and 24 hours per day, 365 days per year by the end of 2024
